The short version
- Fyncora is a tool for keeping track of your money, goals and habits. It is not a bank and not financial advice.
- It is paid. A 30-day trial (longer with some partners' codes) needs a card and turns into a subscription when it ends unless you cancel. Prices include VAT.
- You own what you enter and can export it at any time, including after you stop paying.
- You must be 18 or older. Children use Fyncora only through a Kids account that a parent or guardian creates and controls.
- Slovenian law applies, and nothing here takes away the consumer protections of the country you live in.
These Terms of Service are the contract between you and us for the use of Fyncora. Please read them. If you do not agree with them, do not use Fyncora.
Who you are dealing with
Fyncora is provided by:
- Fyncora, run by its founder Tomo in Slovenia
- Email: support@fyncora.com
The registered business details (name, address, registration and tax numbers) will be listed here as soon as the business registration is complete.
"We", "us" and "Fyncora" in these terms mean this provider. "You" means the person who creates an account. Our Privacy Policy explains what we do with personal data and is part of these terms.
What Fyncora is, and is not
Fyncora is a web and phone application in which you record your accounts, transactions, budgets, recurring bills, investments, net worth, goals, tasks and habits, share chosen parts of them with your household, give children a supervised Kids account, and use AI features and public calculators built on that data.
- You enter the data, or your bank sends it. You type entries in, dictate them, scan a receipt, or import a CSV file. Where available, you can also connect a bank account, which a licensed partner reads for you (see Bank connections). Fyncora never asks for your online-banking password.
- Fyncora holds no money. It is not a bank, a payment service or an investment service. Nothing in Fyncora can move money or place an order.
- Everything is as accurate as what you entered, or your bank sent. Totals, forecasts, pace estimates and AI output are calculated from your entries, from what a connected bank reports, and from public exchange rates and market prices that may lag or be wrong.
Who may use Fyncora
- You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a contract. You confirm this, and accept these terms, when you create your account; we record when you did and which version you accepted.
- A person under 18 may use Fyncora only through a Fyncora Kids account created and managed by an adult who holds parental responsibility for them. See Fyncora Kids below.
- One account is for one person. A household is how several adults work together; you do not share a login.
- If you use Fyncora for a business, you confirm you may bind that business to these terms. Some consumer rights below then do not apply.
Your account
- Keep your password to yourself and tell us at once if you think someone else has used your account.
- Give us a working email address. We use it for security notices, billing and invitations; those emails cannot be switched off while you have an account. Marketing emails are separate and need your consent.
- You are responsible for what happens under your account, except for what happens after you told us it was compromised.
Trial, plans and prices
Fyncora has no free tier. Every account starts with a trial and then needs a subscription.
| Monthly | Yearly | Who it covers | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Premium | €4.99 | €29.99 | one person |
| Premium Household | €7.99 | €49.99 | up to five adults, including the one who pays, and any number of children |
Prices include VAT at the rate that applies to you. They are shown again, with the tax amount, before you confirm a purchase.
- The trial. New accounts get the full product for 30 days at no charge, or longer when a partner's code or link you used says so (the length is shown before you start). A payment card is required to start it, and we check it with Stripe without charging it. Every account gets one trial, ever, whether started on the web or in the Android app. We remind you by email 7 days and 1 day before the trial ends.
- When the trial ends it becomes the subscription you chose, at the price above, unless you have cancelled before then. Cancelling during the trial costs nothing.
- Renewal. A subscription renews for the same period at the end of each period until you cancel. We tell you by email before a price change takes effect, at least 30 days ahead, and you may cancel before it applies.
- Cancelling. Cancel at any time in Settings → Subscription, or, for a subscription bought in the Android app, in Google Play. Your plan stays active until the end of the period you have paid for; that remaining time is not refunded, except as described under Your right to withdraw.
- When a subscription ends, your account becomes read-only: you can see everything and export it, but not add or change entries, until you subscribe again. We do not delete your data because you stopped paying. We may delete an account that has been unpaid and unused for a long time, after warning you by email.
- Household. The member who pays for Premium Household covers the other adults they invite; those members never pay. If the paying member cancels, every member's account becomes read-only when the paid period ends.
- Buying in the Android app. A subscription bought through Google Play is sold by Google under Google Play's terms. Google is the merchant; Google's refund and cancellation rules apply to that purchase, and Google may enforce these terms as a third party. You cannot hold a Google Play subscription and a web subscription at the same time.
- Discounts and credits. A referral gives the invited person 50% off their first year and the inviter a €5 credit once the invited person's subscription has run for 30 days. Credits are applied to future charges and cannot be paid out. A partner's code or link gives what the partner's offer says (a longer trial, 50% off the first year, or both). One code per account: a typed code counts before a link, and a newer link before an older one, until you start your trial. Other discounts are offered in the app on the terms shown there.
- Partners. Creators who recommend Fyncora under the Partner Terms earn a commission on what the people they bring pay. That changes nothing about your price.
Your right to withdraw
As a consumer in the EU you may withdraw from a contract made online within 14 days without giving a reason, by writing to support@fyncora.com or cancelling in the app.
- Because the trial is free, withdrawing within 14 days of starting it is the same as cancelling: nothing is charged.
- If you buy a paid period directly, Fyncora starts providing the service immediately, at your request. You will be asked to agree to this and to acknowledge that, once the service has been provided in full, the right to withdraw is lost. If you withdraw before the paid period has run out, we refund the price minus the part of the period already used.
- For a purchase made through Google Play, Google's refund rules apply instead.
Your content
- Everything you enter in Fyncora stays yours. We claim no rights to it beyond what is needed to run the service for you: storing it, showing it to you and to the household members you chose, sending the parts you ask for to the AI features, and keeping backups.
- You are responsible for what you enter, and for having the right to enter anything about other people (for example a note naming someone).
- You can take your data with you at any time. Settings → Privacy → Export gives you a file in a commonly used, machine-readable format. This works while you subscribe, while your account is read-only, and for 30 days after we end your account for any reason other than serious abuse.
- We do not use your content for advertising, do not sell it, and do not use it to train AI models.
Bank connections
- Connecting a bank account is optional. It may not be available for every bank or country, and the number of connections may depend on your plan.
- The connection is provided by a licensed account information service provider (currently Enable Banking, Salt Edge or Plaid, depending on your bank) under its own licence and terms, which you accept when you connect. Fyncora is not a party to your agreement with your bank.
- The access is read-only. Your bank decides how long it lasts, usually up to 180 days; after that you sign in at your bank again, or the connection stops. Banks may limit how often an account can be read.
- What your bank sends can arrive late, incomplete or wrong, and a bank or a provider can be unavailable. Check the figures that matter to you, and correct imported entries as you would your own.
- Connect only accounts you are entitled to access.
- Disconnect at any time in Settings → Bank connections. If your subscription ends, syncing stops, and the connections are ended after a while; we tell you first.
Broker and exchange connections
- Where available, connecting a supported broker or exchange is optional and subject to your plan, the provider's availability and its terms. Use only an account and a read-only key or reporting token you are authorised to connect.
- We read balances and positions. We do not place orders, transfer assets or withdraw funds. Do not supply a key with those permissions. If an exchange key's reported permissions become unsafe, we stop using it and delete our stored copy.
- Reports can be delayed or incomplete. We show when a connection was last read and which assets could not be counted. Check important figures against the provider's own records. A synced balance is not an instruction or recommendation to buy, sell, hold or use an investment product.
- Disconnect in Settings → Investment connections and choose whether to keep or remove the imported records. Revoke the key at the provider as well. If your subscription ends, syncing stops and credentials are scheduled for deletion after 30 paused days, with a reminder beforehand.
Household sharing
- You decide what you share. Every account has a sharing level (Shared, Amounts only, or Private) that only its owner changes; goals, tasks, milestones, projects and documents are shared item by item.
- What you share, the other members can see, and, where the sharing level allows it, use in their own budgets, reports and AI features.
- Joining a household brings your accounts into it at the sharing levels you choose. Leaving ends the others' access to your data from that moment, and yours to theirs. Entries that belong to the household's shared history (for example a transfer you recorded between two members' accounts) stay in that history.
- A household may have one paying member and up to four other adults. The paying member cannot read what others keep private, and cannot delete another adult's account.
- Use sharing only with people who have agreed to it. Do not add someone's accounts without their knowledge.
Fyncora Kids
- A Kids account is created by an adult member of a household who confirms they hold parental responsibility for the child and consents to the processing described in the Privacy Policy. We rely on that confirmation; we cannot verify it.
- The guardian controls the child's profile, the jars and limits the child sees, chores and rewards, devices and sign-in, and can export or delete the child's data at any time.
- The child's records are family records, not money. Pocket-money balances and payouts in Fyncora describe what the family agreed; they are not accounts we hold.
- The last guardian of a child cannot leave the household or delete their own account until another guardian takes over the child, or the child is deleted.
AI features and the AI connector
- The assistant, the advisor chat, voice entry and the suggestion features are generated by an AI model. Their output can be wrong, incomplete or out of date. Check it before you act on it.
- The AI never changes your data on its own. A suggested entry or change is shown to you first and happens only when you confirm it.
- The AI features have a monthly allowance per account, shared by the household on Premium Household, shown in Settings → Subscription and back to full on the 1st of each month. When it is used up, the advisor and the other AI conversations pause until then; voice entry and the other quick helpers keep working within their own limit, and everything you enter yourself always does.
- The AI connector lets an AI app you already use read your Fyncora data, and, if you allow it, propose changes for you to approve. You choose which apps to connect and what each may do, and you can disconnect them at any time. What a connected app does with the data is governed by that app's terms, not ours. Keep the connection's credentials private.
- Do not use the AI features to generate content that is unlawful, or to extract the model's instructions, and do not use their output to build or train a competing model.
Not financial advice
Fyncora, including its AI features and its public calculators, gives you information and arithmetic about your own entries. It is not financial, investment, tax, legal, accounting or insurance advice, and it does not take your personal situation into account the way a licensed adviser would. Before a decision that matters, check the figures yourself and, where appropriate, ask a qualified professional. We are not liable for a decision you make on the basis of Fyncora's output beyond what Our liability below allows.
Acceptable use
Do not:
- use Fyncora to break the law or to harm, harass or defraud anyone;
- try to get into accounts or data that are not yours, probe or overload our systems, or bypass limits and access controls;
- copy, scrape or systematically extract the service or its content, or resell access to it;
- upload malware, or content that infringes someone else's rights;
- misuse the referral programme, for example by creating accounts for yourself;
- add a child who is not under your parental responsibility, or share data with a household member who has not agreed to it.
If you find a security problem, tell us at support@fyncora.com and give us a reasonable time to fix it.
Availability, updates and changes to the service
- We aim to keep Fyncora available all the time, but it will sometimes be down for maintenance or because of faults. We do not promise uninterrupted service.
- We keep Fyncora in conformity with these terms during your subscription, and we provide the updates, including security updates, needed to do so. Install app updates when they are offered.
- We improve Fyncora continuously and may add, change or remove features. If a change removes something you rely on or otherwise makes the service clearly worse for you, we tell you by email at least 30 days ahead, and you may end your subscription before the change takes effect and be refunded the unused part of your paid period.
- Features marked as beta or experimental may change or disappear without that notice.
Ending the contract
- By you. Cancel your subscription at any time (see Cancelling). Delete your account at any time in Settings → Privacy; deletion is immediate and permanent, so export first. Deleting the account cancels a subscription bought on the web at the same moment; the rest of a paid period is not refunded. A subscription bought through Google Play can only be cancelled in Google Play, so Fyncora asks you to cancel it there first and deletes the account once it no longer renews.
- By us, for breach. If you break these terms, we will normally tell you and give you a chance to put it right. For serious or repeated breaches, or abuse that puts other users at risk, we may suspend or end your account at once.
- By us, otherwise. We may end these terms with 60 days' notice by email, for example if we stop offering Fyncora. We then refund the unused part of any paid period and keep your data available for export for at least 30 days after the end.
- When the contract ends, your right to use Fyncora ends. The sections on your content, liability, governing law and disputes continue to apply.
Our liability
- We are liable without limit for damage we cause intentionally or by gross negligence, for death or personal injury, and wherever the law does not allow liability to be limited.
- In all other cases our liability to you for all claims arising in any 12-month period is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the event or €50.
- We are not liable for indirect losses, for losses caused by information you entered, or your bank or a connection provider supplied, incorrectly or incompletely, for decisions you take on the basis of Fyncora's figures or AI output, or for the acts of a service you connected yourself (such as your Google Drive or an AI app).
- Nothing in these terms limits the rights you have as a consumer under the law of the country where you live, including your rights if Fyncora does not conform to this contract.
Governing law and disputes
- These terms are governed by the law of Slovenia. If you are a consumer living in another EU or EEA country, you also keep the protection of the mandatory consumer law of that country, and you may bring a claim before the courts there. Otherwise the courts in Slovenia have jurisdiction.
- Complaints. Write to support@fyncora.com. We confirm receipt and answer within 8 days, as Slovenian consumer law requires. If we reject a complaint, we tell you why in writing.
- Out-of-court dispute resolution. Under the Slovenian Act on Out-of-Court Resolution of Consumer Disputes (ZIsRPS), we inform you that we do not recognise any provider of out-of-court consumer dispute resolution as competent for disputes under these terms. The European Commission's online dispute resolution platform was discontinued in July 2025 and can no longer be used.
Changes to these terms
We may change these terms when the service, the law or our business changes. For a change that affects you adversely, we tell you by email at least 30 days before it takes effect, and you may end your subscription before that date with a refund of the unused part of your paid period. Continuing to use Fyncora after the date means you accept the new terms. Each version carries its date at the top of the page. The current version is dated 15 October 2026.
