How this is worked out
  • Each payment is shared across the jars to the cent. Whatever does not divide goes to savings — the same rule the Fyncora Kids app uses.
  • The savings line adds each month's saving with nothing taken out. The savings account line earns 2% a year; real rates change, and a jar earns nothing.
  • We show a guide only where we can name the source and its date. Many countries have no official amount; then it is a survey of what families give, and the answer says so.
  • A weekly amount becomes monthly at 52 weeks over 12 months, not four weeks.
  • Guidance, not financial advice. The same calculation runs inside Fyncora on your real numbers.
